Cruciform 2

"The 'Cruciform' series is an interesting hybrid of Frank Lloyd Wright, Wassily Kandinsky and the Bauhaus Movement. Cruciform is defined as 'having the shape of a cross'. It is Mr. Wright who inspired the series with his frequent use of the cruciform in his residential floorpans. The lines and geometric shapes were influenced by the works of Kandinsky during the Bauhaus period. Integration of all of the elements were key to making each piece congruent with the others.

'Cruciform 2' pretty much showcases Kandinsky. The geometric elements are work together well in this one. Composition is something both of these individuals paid close attention to."
