Cosmic Auras 2
"As the enormity of outer space continues to baffle our psyche and science, our perceptions of God, humankind and nature have had to adapt. These simple watercolor paintings illustrate how an innocent life, light or aura exists within each and every one of us, at any given moment, no matter how complex, unique and multifaceted we may believe ourselves to be. When I made these paintings, I was meditating close to an hour every day, and pondering a meditation idea about the little 'i' inside. It is that peaceful spark within that we may access more immediately, when our ego no longer interferes or dominates the mind. As simple as these may appear, I had to be very calm, attentive and centered to make this body of work."
