Corozo Dance
"The corozo is a wild fruit found in small quantities in the South American Caribbean, it makes refreshing juice and popsicles, their splash of intense colors in between lush greens and waving leaves always makes my eyes dance when I see them. The Festival collection is a celebration of my Latinx culture, the joyful colors and fruit from my native country of Colombia, and the cheerful fabrics and and magnificent dresses of the “Palenquera” women of the Caribbean area, whom are often found making and selling fresh fruit bowls; a connection to my roots in tropical vibes! Every motif in this collection was painted with watercolors on paper, then digitized and assembled using design software."
