"Pattern on pattern on pattern, playing and interacting and holding conversations. They are partners in this painting, "commiserating" with one another. This party of a painting started with watercolor pencils and pigment sticks to make marks, and then layers of acrylic ink and paint and patterns with spraypaint and markers. Light, bright, and happy colors, motion, and harmony solidify this composition as joyful. While working on this piece, as with most of my pieces, I work with the intent to share positive energy."
