Calm
"Inner peace is like a calm ocean. No disturbances. No waves. Just peace. It is beautiful and rare. When you achieve that serenity, you want to stay there forever. Just like still ocean peace is easily disturbed. I wanted to capture it and remind myself and others it is inside and only we can allow what and who will take it away. Easily said than done. I used heavy gel, sand, oil, and acrylic paint. Gold represents the moments when you are really one with the universe."
