Boardroom 6 (Oyster)

"Working with copper acrylics, inks and copper leaf were my initial challenge. The intention was to work with architectural elements within the piece while building leather looking tones to complement the tourquoise. My vision was to imagine a boardroom or large library where these colors & elements could resonate. I wanted to paint with simple colors, bright white and oyster, adding layers of texture and patterns which become more evident upon closer examination. The gold leaf was the spark intended to open the eye to look at the hard edges of hidden textures while celebrating the soft palette of the painting."
