"Visiting the woods at Shaver Lake, CA inspired these paintings. In the midst of world turmoil, I needed to paint the beauty I was privileged to enjoy during my stay. Using a monochromatic approach with acrylics, inks and pastel chalks I slowly felt that the beauty transcended my own vision, taking on a life of their own. My intent was for viewers to reflect on the Bounty that lies in front of us when we allow it to reasonate with our souls."
