"Challenging global pandemic and cultural changes are demanding as we enter the third year (2022) of collective & individual tensions. The Calmness Series was driven by a passion to simply express the beauty of calmness.
Where calmness breathes, stillness unwinds. The journey advances in the stillness. It unlocks the doors where each of us has a choice to be. Gratitude, captured moments of joy, optimism and civility rise in the human heart.
My intent was to experience that calmness within the stillness of creating this series. Within this secret garden of stillness, surprisingly we learn that we are Light wherever we are and to recognize the Light that abounds among us. In essence, each painting reflects that Calmness which is our potential to a Life well-lived. That is the beauty of Calmness."
