"In “Astra,” I wanted to explore the intersection of vibrant color and dynamic form, inspired by Picasso’s cubism and a cyberpunk space opera aesthetic. The bold yellows, reds, and pinks, balanced with metallics and black, create an asymmetry that draws the viewer into a fractured yet cohesive narrative. I used this palette to convey both energy and contrast, representing the tension between the organic and the futuristic. This piece reflects my desire to push the boundaries of abstraction while paying homage to timeless artistic movements and modern influences."
