An Eye in Time

"This geometric abstraction superimposes a diamond and a square. both subdivided, so that the nexus of the two generates a new lens. As a square can spin and become a diamond, it can also regress or come toward the viewer: and then the opposite can also happen. Therefore, the two shapes are similar on one plane of existence, yet juxtaposed in another. The resulting, layered image depicts a rendering of time, shifting perspective, the beauty of kaleidoscopic views and colors. It begs the question 'what is certain, fixed, 'right, static and rigid?', and it reminds us that the one certainty in life is change."
