"Aerial Serenity is a piece dominated by a spectrum of blues and accents of white and silver leafing that were thoughtfully layered to create a textured surface giving a feeling of movement and depth. The piece makes one think of the fluidity and changing nature patterns seen from high above such as when flying in an airplane. The layering and play of color with texture lead to an immersive experience that captures both the stillness and motion found in moments of quiet observation. I was inspired to create this piece from the perspective from an airplane window. The piece translates the sensation of looking outward and downward, where form and color blur into something both abstract and alive. I feel it encourages the contemplation of perspective and beauty found in fleeting views from above."
