Stacey Williams is a self taught portrait artist who began painting (acrylic) in 2009. Painting began as a form of stress management after a layoff in the midst of a lengthy recession. Face after face, her skills have improved & her creativity has soared. The unique tilt she brings to her work, from feathery eyelashes to touches of metallic where you least expect it, is absolutely captivating.
Despite a two year run with a debilitating hip condition, she can be found painting anywhere from Pret to Au Bon Pain to the local Boston shelter where she currently resides. One hip replacement down, one to go. Stacey is also a proud mother and Air Force Veteran.read more
