A-Mazing

"This hard-edge piece is included in my 'White Line' series of artworks. The white lines are inspired by the works of Frank Stella, particularly his 1980s pieces. The colors are developed on a piece-by-piece basis, from individual color palettes that are dependent on how I envision the outcome. Originally conceived back in the fall of 2018, 'A-Mazing' was inspired by a farmer's Corn Maze attraction along a country road north of here. Including this as part of my 'White Line' series was perfect as the white lines represent the pathway options for navigation through the maze.I chose an autumn color palette that also mimics that of Indian corn."
