Bridging Art and Impact

In 2023 and 2024, CVS Health partnered with ArtLifting to bring artwork into its new full-service clinics in Swampscott, Beverly, and Boston, MA, and reimagine primary and urgent care within their CVS Clinic with Carbon Health locations. Stakeholders expressed a strong desire to infuse them with hospitality, humanity, and a visual identity aligned with brand values. Through the installation of nine vibrant prints,  ArtLifting introduced color, inspiration, and emotional resonance into exam rooms and common areas, making the environment more welcoming for patients and staff alike.

The curated artworks also advanced the client’s  commitment to community impact. In addition to the financial investment, artists described how having their work displayed in a healthcare setting provided a powerful sense of validation and visibility. For artist Cheryl Kinderknecht, being chosen for this project affirmed that her voice matters in a competitive art world, and that partnerships like this one help create meaningful opportunities for underrepresented artists. For artists, projects like this bring both encouragement and recognition, reinforcing their sense of purpose and connection with broader audiences.
