Metropolis Madness

"Even when I was healthy, the city always intimidated me. As much as I enjoyed it when I was in school there, and as exciting as it was to be among all of the arts and museums, the hoards of people, cars and fumes just made me long for the rural calm of home. In this digital composition, I portrayed the city with the excitement of the environment using many colors, textures, perspectives and shapes. The composite was a combination of water colors and alcohol inks...digitally enhanced with several filters and distortion applications."
