"I had originally painted this piece in acrylic, silk draping and mixed media. In my era as a child, we had pick up sticks, loose scrabble tiles, and various plastic animal toys. If you can see the Scrabble tiles, they spell “Go, Be, Do," which was a personal incentive for myself after my accident. It’s a memoriam to my life before and the great experiences I used to have when I was mobile."
