"I’m a big fan of the islands…any island. I love the charm and the lifestyle…but I especially love the color and the landscape. I love the slow pace of the islanders and their lifestyle. This was a combination of two different landscapes. I tried to convey the feeling I get from the calmness and peace of island living. This digital painting was created from a rough sketch of the scene I recalled. I initiated the design with a series of filters, and color variations with texture enhancements."
