- A creative wallcovering installation transformed a challenging architectural space into a striking public-facing art moment on Madison Avenue in New York City.
“My art is my way of using my voice. So when companies acquire my art and share my story, I feel like I’m being seen and heard. And it also feels rewarding to inspire others to have resilience while facing challenges.”
- Aimee Hofmann, ArtLifting artist
Where Interior Design Meets Street-Level Impact
A financial services client partnered with ArtLifting to extend the impact of their visual storytelling beyond the walls of their corporate headquarters. ArtLifting curated and installed a 1,422 square feet wallcovering of Blue Crush Sunrise by Aimee Hofmann on an interior wall visible from street level on Madison Avenue. The wall’s placement, three feet behind a glass façade on the second floor, meant traditional options were limited. The installation of a vibrant, large-scale wallcovering was an innovative approach to bring color, movement, and impact to the public realm.
The artwork was selected to reflect the energy and vibrancy of New York City life while drawing visual inspiration from nearby Central Park. By featuring artist Aimee Hofmann, a New Yorker who now lives in nearby Westchester county, the installation spotlights local talent and affirms its support for the city’s creative community.
