Curating a Destination Workplace at The Spiral
Set within The Spiral building in New York City, HSBC’s U.S. headquarters brings to life a workplace designed to serve as an inspiring destination for employees and guests alike.
To support this vision, ArtLifting curated a collection of original artworks by New York-based artists, aligning with HSBC’s goals of fostering inclusivity, wellness, sustainability, and purposeful engagement.
ArtLifting’s curation focused on integrating each piece with the building’s dynamic, hybrid design and floor-specific aesthetic. By selecting original works that complement both the bold and subtle design moments across multiple floors, ArtLifting ensured that every artwork reinforced HSBC’s emphasis on flexibility, community, and well-being. This permanent investment in unique artworks created by innovative artists living with disabilities reflects HSBC’s dedication to meaningful social impact and long-term cultural stewardship within the workplace.
Beyond the installation, ArtLifting deepened the partnership through artist engagement and storytelling. In October 2024, ArtLifting collaborated with HSBC and CRETech to host an exclusive office art tour featuring local artists.
During the event, real estate professionals heard directly from featured artist Aneliya Kostova about her creative process and journey with ArtLifting. The event celebrated the power of art to connect people and spaces, reinforcing HSBC’s commitment to meaningful social impact through authentic collaboration and ArtLifting’s mission to amplify the voices of artists with diverse lived experiences.
