Spaces of Intention: How Art Brings Connection to Work&’s Wellness Suites
ArtLifting partnered with Work& and MetroNational to reimagine workplace wellbeing at Memorial City Plazas in Houston. Located on the second floor of Two Memorial City Plaza, the 1,457-sq-ft Work& suite includes five wellness suites and three private lactation rooms, all showcasing curated prints by artists with disabilities. Calming palettes, gentle abstractions, and clear storytelling reduce stress, support privacy, and transform essential rooms into restorative spaces that foster connection and comfort.
By amplifying the voices of underrepresented artists, the program turns inclusion into a tangible part of the built environment, bringing intention and meaning to an amenity tenants use every day. The art complements Work&Mother’s fully equipped, tech-enabled suites, helping employers meet PUMP Act and FLSA requirements while turning compliance into a compassionate experience across Memorial City.
