"“Trees in the Wind” is inspired by the landscape in my backyard which is on the edge of a forested stream. I am interested in the movement and energy on a windy day, as well as the changing light and color through the trees. Although trees fall, the earth continually renews itself with abundant lush green life. The backyard is a constant reminder of growth and resiliency which encourages my own developing strength to recover, renew, and to be triumphantly resilient by bending with the wind."
