Stem #12

"This work is from a series of works inspired by my interest in looking at the microscopic beauty of cross-sections of stems. I'm fascinated by the interior beauty of their natural abstractions. The xylem and phloem weave tapestries of cellular mosaics, each vessel a tiny, stained-glass window illuminating the plant's inner architecture. The cross-section, a slice of interior life, reveals fractal patterns, where nature's artistry paints with the delicate strokes of living geometry.""
