"In creating this piece, I was reminded of the similarities in experiences and journeys. It is interesting to see where one experience crosses over with another experience, offering a different direction, yet following the same congruity. "Parallel Connections" reflects similarity. As I was painting this piece, I was reminded of the pathways and experiences that link us together and the connections which offer a choice of directions. The color palettes I chose for this piece are complimentary as they, too, connect with one another."
