"There are a couple of building structures in the homeless garden project farm just behind our apartment. I got some shots of their windows (and missing windows) at golden hour. Also, in the winter, a pink trumpet tree had blossomed, and though they're not cherry blossoms, the elements/images I began this with led me to create (hopefully) a delicate, open-yet-vivid mix of elements. Using the wood grain, letting it become more organic at the bottom, a combination of deepening sea (or sky) blues into the kind of tangle that is on the ground both at the building and under the tree with the blossoms"
