""Just Go For It" is something I'd been telling myself lately when my inner critic tells me that I don't have much to say with my art. "What in the world are you doing? What are you even trying to say? Do you even have anything to say? What's the point of all this?" That's when I remind myself that the colors are the point. The lively scribbles - that's why I do this; to feel alive and take me away to another place. The canvas is a safe space, if I let it be a safe space. This painting took many forms. I covered up and repainted different sections over and over again until I felt like the different sections finally worked well together."
