"I loved painting my Happy Day paintings! At the start of each painting I think: what makes a Happy Day today? The answer for me always starts with squares! I am a big fan of squares! And rectangles. So sometimes a Happy Day is 1 yellow square and 1 yellow rectangle with maybe a blue rectangle. Or sometimes a big grey square with blue, yellow and cream squares. And then sometimes a FUN green square! All 3 paintings are a Happy Day for me, and I hope people in Florida will have a Happy Day when they see them. My uncle, my godfather, lives in Florida and I love to visit him there. We go to his neighborhood pool and go down the big slide together. Florida is a Happy place. I love to be there. I hope my Happy Day squares make people smile."
