"I was very happy with the client's choice of color palette. And I really liked the examples of my ART that they shared with me. I decided that a diptych landscape style painting would be a good choice for them. But because I love Florida's beaches, I wanted a morning sunrise over the ocean: a seascape. I chose my tools: scrapers, foam brushes, sponges, regular brushes and blue shop towels. I used a pencil to draw the composition, and then I used the black paint with a big blue scraper on top. I love these sharp lines. Then I mixed colors and filled in the spaces of the sea and the sky. I used a small brush to paint the yellows in the sunrise. I think these two paintings are hopeful and happy. I think anyone visiting Florida could go to the beach and be happy to see the sunrise. And I hope my paintings help people have a very Good Morning!!!"
