"Part of a series of monoprints - the edges of leaves reminded me of topographical lines on a map and I extended them further to illustrate a kind of journey that nature takes both for you (the viewer) and for nature itself. These also are a practice for me in using my hands until they hurt - holding a pen and drawing until I literally can't anymore. They are a representation of pushing to my own edges."
