"Abstract cut paper collage and mixed media on panel. Thicker pieces of vintage paper make up this slightly geometric abstraction. As the old paper is sanded some areas of print and picture remain while some lift off. When thin washes of acrylic paint are applied some places are more porous than others, which creates a magical varied and layered surface texture. Look closely for images and fonts from vintage publications. Maybe even a clown or two."
