"Piece painted to the song “Bodhisattva Vow”. Listening to the hypnotic chanting of Buddhist monks with the echo drenched Beastie Boys vocal sends vibrating, pulsing waves of gold, electric yellows & iridescent whites slithering in my brain. Using pigments, inks, oils & glossy medium, I used my fingers to create the shapes and textures. I incorporated sections of extra shiny whites to give a bit of “fire” and “ice” contrast across the canvas to show how electric the colors & shapes I see are."
