Aerial View: Clay, Fields, and Water
"In this lightly textured, muted representational abstract, I wanted to capture and convey the sense of looking down at a rural landscape from a drone or a plane window and seeing wispy colors, nearly flat textures, and vague images and outlines. Techniques used in this work include painting, layering, transparent washes, drawing, scraping and sgraffito, stenciling, and mono printing."
