"I paint to be accomplished. I don’t want to waste my talents.”
Eddie Fitch paints to relieve stress and stay calm. He says, “I like to control something. It makes me feel relaxed.” With so many of his circumstances out of his control, painting offers Eddie the perfect outlet. He creates his work at Common Art, an art program in Boston that provides space, community, and art materials to homeless and low-income individuals.
Eddie wants to sell his work through ArtLifting to “make money and be part of a community.”
ArtLifting champions artists impacted by homelessness or disabilities through the celebration and sale of their artwork. Learn more here.
