"One day I got to my art table wanting to paint these beautiful flowers, but all I could find was my motor difficulty confronting me. Angry and heartbroken with grief, I wished life just wasn’t what it was.
As I closed my eyes to breathe deeply, holding my brush in new ways, calmness settled in. The shapes started looking like blobby birds and a spark of joy and hope suddenly washed through me!
I went from sobbing –“I’ll never manage to do this again” and giggling –“it’s a flower-transformed-bird-flower critter!”.
I was one with all of it; the grief and the joy, the loss and the new.
Something in my spirit healed that day and the beginning of “We are One” came singing...
“When I can accept what is right here and now, I can be for the joy of being me. I can let my imagination fly free! –I can accept what isn’t possible and not give up. I am adapting so I can find my way”
Within the boundaries of my limitations there can be freedom. I can both fall and I can persevere.
I can love through it all, I am one with all.We are each one with all!
Midnight Blue is the colorway way for fluttering through the night."
