"Life as a woman can be a struggle in so many ways. Physical, mental and on so many levels. This painting was a struggle for me b/c of my vision getting a bit smaller and attempting a different style for me. It is an image of a woman who is surviving each and every day and making a place for herself in society. I felt this gave me the confidence to continue my journey no matter how much vision I lose."
