"My sculpture series explores the profound aspects of life's journey, including transitions between phases that ultimately lead to transformation, renewal and emergence. The sculptures uncover a unique beauty as a result of the repairment of fractured pieces. The new hybrid, now whole again, mirrors my journey, as one who is repurposed and reborn after loss, grief, and healing. The sculture-painting hybrid now possesses greater complexity, depth, layers of history and substance."
