"If the artist could choose a completely different art medium to work in, it would be glass. Unfortunately, with multiple sclerosis, heat intolerance and spasticity are true barriers to learning- however glass can be imagined in ink! Each ink rondel is created in a singular steady sweep (which was a triumph over muscle spasticity), playing with transparencies and layering. This piece is rich with texture and includes four shades accomplished through artist-made ink from the beautiful Pacific NW."
