"In researching for my children’s book Tales from Amazonia, I discovered a powerful truth: even as fires reduce vast stretches of rainforest to ashes, and rivers shrink under the weight of climate change, the Amazon shows signs of resilience. Forests sprout anew, waters return, and life begins again—thanks to the tireless work of dedicated individuals and non-profit organizations. This understanding became the inspiration for my new abstract series. Renewal is my homage to this rebirth—a celebration expressed through vivid colors and evocative titles that echo the brightness and the shimmer of tropical light. Each painting seeks to capture the spirit of endurance that allows the rainforest to gather itself once more in a mantle of green, luminous and alive, offering a promise of hope."
