On the High Plains
This is a contemporary landscape that shows an open expanse of land with the suggestions of low-lying buildings at the distant high horizon line. Warm colors depict the earth, black shapes represent the distant blocky buildings, and a stretch of sky painted from a cool/neutral color palette tops and tempers this high horizon composition. Painting techniques of interest include mark making, layering, transparent washes, stenciling, and monoprinting.
Prints are produced on demand on stretched canvas, acrylic plexi, or giclee fine art paper in a variety of sizes here in the United States.
