"Ocean Blossoms became a journey of discovering images in the original painted surface and working from there. The fish and the dragon on the top right as well as the crustacean shape on the middle left created what I call an ocean scene. The oceans of the world are struggling to continue to survive and renew life. The process of using pieces of painted paper gave me the chance to study how to create interesting colors, shapes and movement within the painting before actually attaching them permanently. Ocean has given me another direction or avenue to create art that may speak to people in another way."
