"This watercolor work depicts a bouquet of lilies and wild sunflowers in a yellow pitcher on a green background. It was included in my exhibit 'Lilies and Friends' and was completed as part of a series on 06.13.2025. In several works, I painted the white lilies against various intensely colored backgrounds, so that I could explore the rainbow-like color reflections of the white lilies, in all their intensities. The wild sunflowers I picked from my little garden behind my building and added because I liked their liveliness."
