Grand Allegro
"Grand Allegro was a journey of musical exploration for me. I have worked w/acrylic ink but using metallic ink presents a different result. It is important that the color palette works with the ink. Interestingly enough the painting was created before I decided to apply the copper ink. As I have mentioned before, I tend to do a lot of experimentation and go w/the flow. I also have the desire for my paintings to work as I go along, meaning I pray that the method works and I do not have to paint over it. The last process of this painting was creating shapes within the lines in different locations, not all of the shapes. I feel there are a couple different ways that people will want to look at this painting. I like it this way because the lines remind me of musical scores and the movements of the conductor's arms while conducting."
