Clouds Over Water
"I created this piece during the height of the pandemic years. COVID was well underway and virtual meetups and classes were more popular than ever. I was teaching therapeutic art classes with a San Antonio-based nonprofit organization. My client was a hospital in NYC, Memorial Sloan Kettering. I was working with their AYA oncology department teaching virtual guided art classes. This project was created to be simple enough for beginner-level cancer patients to be able to recreate. This project ended up being popular enough that I used it for other arts classes for other organizations and groups; people with MS, adults with cancer, Veterans, and more."
