"This is an extension of the exploration of the boundary between memory, spirituality, and the physical environment. This new series explores abstractions in the natural process by which water, wind, or ice carries solid particles—such as sand, mud, and gravel—across the earth's surface. It reshapes landscapes, builds beaches, and creates fertile floodplains. This series is rooted in my fascination with the vast and endless abstractions in rock formations found in the Midwest."
