Washed Ashore

"Flow Series about our changing waterways, life’s transitions and the passage of time. While beach walking, I collected bits of discarded rope and weaved it into this painting. The work has surface cracks and fissures within the composition to hint at destruction and loss related to humankind’s impact on nature. It’s a reminder that nothing remains the same. The beauty of the work is meant to evoke nostalgia and highlight that even while breaking down, nature remains a stunning force."
