"Rolling Hills started out a vertical format because I originally was seeing dresses in the wind. As I added the navy lines to create the shapes, there was a need to extend them to the edge of the paper. Changing the format to horizontal all of a sudden created a strong landscape with rolling hills of patterns and a river flowing in and out."
