"As I was photographing an early winter snowfall, I was inspired by the multi-dimensional effects of icicles as the clouds began to disperse and the sun began to emerge. The icicles were gleaming and reflecting the first blush of sunlight. To create Misty Reflections, I selected a pallet of color reflective of the reverence found in winter's briskness. Often, my photography is a tool that I enjoy using to find inspiration for my paintings. It's through the camera's lens that I often see different perspectives."
