"Journey started out with a light layer of paint that I was experimenting with. I also had some new colors of acrylic ink and decided to try red. Both became a real challenge to work with. Starting one shape and color and following it like a puzzle started to show me a circular form which eventually became the turtle on its journey to the sea."
