Further Than I Thought
"The name “Further Than I Thought” comes from this piece being the largest scale I had gone at the time. It was more labor intensive and took hours longer than previous weavings. Finishing it was an incredibly proud moment for me, as it was an intimidating project to take on. I knew any mistake would take longer to adjust, but as I’ve learned from my weaving journey, accepting imperfections is a necessary part of my process. This piece is inspired by taking on challenges, facing them even when apprehensive."
