Dandelions on the Sidewalk

"Weeds are something people want to get rid of in their gardens, but they are truly beautiful to look at and very useful - seed, leaf, flower and root, all of which have medicinal qualities containing vitamins, minerals and fibre and the bees love them. Never underestimate a common weed. This parallelism of dandelions and disabilities really is a thought provoking concept. Sometimes I feel like I am that weed in society and I truly want to express its beauty and purpose through my creation."
