While labeled an art\rschool, the Bauhaus became an incubator of sorts for artists, architects and designers and produced some of\rthe world's most iconic creatives such as Wassily Kandinsky, Walter Gropius, Josef Albers, Marcel Breuer and\rMies can Der Rohe. The school remained operational until 1933. However, its impact on art, architecture and\rdesign are still seen today.\rI became very steeped in the history of the Bauhaus at age 15 when I was given a book about Wassily\rKandinsky. The Bauhaus movement as a whole, has had a profound influence on my artworks as well as the\rinterior spaces in my home.\r'Bauhaus 1' is an example of how the school has influenced my art.
